I did do one strange thing. I re-installed Natty several hours ago and before removing my previous installing I had backed up /usr/shar/
At the time of the crash I was streaming a video over samba, had boinc running, chromium and pidgin... I think that was all... using vlc for the video.
I'm not an expert but I hope that helps!
