Bug Description
Binary package hint: udev
Automatically running hid2hci (in /lib/udev/
Before upgrading from 9.10, I had disabled HCI mode (by editing 70-hid2hci.rules) because I have a multi-boot computer (the bluetooth system design fails to account for multi-boot).
After upgrading to 10.04, I no longer had keyboard access because pairing requires a keyboard!
A couple of suggestions for addressing this:
1. Installer preserves existing 70-hid2hci.rules
2. Installer asks user which mode if 70-hid2hci.rules is edited
3. Add another means of preventing hid2hci from running (ala env var or whatever)

Also, this bug prevented me from installing maverick alpha-3 from cd because I could not input *anything* with a non-functioning mouse or keyboard.
