Bug Description
Binary package hint: bluez-utils
I'm using here a FSC Lifebook S-6120 with a up to date Ubuntu Intrepid Ibex Alpha-6. With Hardy Heron i was able to par my Anycom BTM-100 bluetooth mouse with Ubuntu. With Intrepid it fails
$ dpkg -l bluez-utils
[...]
ii bluez-utils 3.36-1ubuntu2 Bluetooth tools and daemons
When i set the mouse into paring mode and try to pair it with ubuntu, it fails
$ sudo hidd --search
Searching ...
No devices in range or visible
The mouse can't be found. This worked with Hardy, and it still works when i try to do this with my desktop pc, which runs with Hardy. So the problem here is intrepid. Are there logs which i might include in this bug?

Hi Christoph,
There's an ongoing effort to switch into bluez 4.x stack in Intrepid. It would be great if you could test if your mouse pairs and functions as expected with the newer bluez version. Details are in bug #274950. You need to be using Intrepid and enable bluetooth team's PPA.
Any positive/negative feedback appreciated.
