We have tested this thoroughly at our office and found that it will reconnect immediately after a reboot but will not on suspend/sleep. This appears to be new when updating to 18.04 LTS.

We can also confirm that it does reconnect after toggling airplane mode on and off but still not connecting after suspend/sleep.

Hi,

I think this problem can be extended for all bluetooth devices. I also paired an android (OS 7.0) phone, after sleep mode you can not reconnect the phone any more.

This issue is related with ubuntu bionic 18.04 (this problem was not present in ubuntu 16.04).
