bluetooth-wizard application only allows 4digit pin code as a custom fixed pin when pairing.
According to bluetooth spec pin code may be up to 16bytes utf-8 characters.

I am seeing this too. Using Ubuntu 9.04 amd64 desktop, bluez-gnome 1.8-0ubuntu5.
This bug makes it very difficult to connect to Arduino BT, as it uses 5-digit pin by default.
