Blueman does not save files in directory

Bug Description

Every time I'm going to use Blueman, I have to reconfigure the package in order to save the uploaded files to the chosen directory.

When removing from automatic startup, the blueman saved the files normally.

I've always seen this behavior... And I'm still seeing it (as of may 2023) in blueman-applet 2.2.4 ...
I don't see what you call "automatic startup". I'm using i3wm, I start blueman in a user script ran at i3wm launch, so no "automatic startup" here and bug always there...
What's even worse is that I get a "popup" saying that "file xxx" is being received, when in fact it's silently failing in the background... So I just found the "temporary work around" (re-setting the Download dir everytime) by chance.
