Bug Description
1) Description: Ubuntu 14.04 LTS
Release: 14.04
NVIDIA graphics card.
2) bluefish:

3) Clicking on Bluefish icon from HUD - nothing happens, program never starts.
4) Running Bluefish from terminal - error message is shown, program never starts.
Bluefish was running fine in 13.10. I upgraded to 14.04 (32 bit) and reinstalled Bluefish after upgrade.
From Synaptic, when installing Bluefish:

After this, I tried to run Bluefish and the program failed to start. In terminal, the error message was:

You probably hit a bug already fixed in bluefish 2.2.6 (see #1300648). AFAIK there is already a request to at least upload a fixed bluefish version to trusty-updates or trusty-backports. But you can use a recent bluefish package from Klaus Vormweg PPA for the being.
