Blender does not support the Unity GlobalMenu

Blender's menu should be incorporated into the Unity panel like other applications in that environment.

I can confirm this bug on Ubuntu 11.10 and 11.04.

What is the status on this? Are there anyone looking into getting Global Menu and HUD-support into Blender?
