Bug Description

Blender freezes on Video Sequence Editor sound playback.
Karmic Alpha2 LiveCD.
Jaunty Jackalope full.
Olivetti Olibook 610-430 XPSE, Intel Celeron M430 de 1,73 GHz, Intel 940ML 3D.

Don't work:
~$ export SDL_AUDIODRIVER
~$ blender -g nosound
Blender 2.48a from Ubuntu Packages works fine.
To test:
Open attached file, locate cursor over the top-right area, press Alt+a. A sound must be played.

Looking at the attachments in this bug report, I noticed that "Test blend file" was flagged as a patch.
