Bleachbit as Root does not open in Gnome Wayland Session

Various graphical applications requiring elevated permissions including Bleachbit as Root won't open in the Gnome shell Wayland session. Operating System: Ubuntu 17.04 DE: Gnome Shell Wayland. Password prompt entry window won't respond to keyboard so am unable to report authentication failure.

The Ubuntu Desktop team currently plans to make GNOME on Wayland the default session for 18.04 LTS next year. Many GNOME 3.22 distros already default to GNOME on Wayland; the others have it as an option.

In addition, if sudo is used from terminal then bleachbit does not start at all giving the following error:

Eventually there should be no separate “root” and “non-root” versions of BleachBit, instead having a single launcher and the application asking for elevated permissions inside it, using PolicyKit instead of GKSu (deprecated since 2011).

I have just uploaded Bleachbit 2.0-2 to the Debian archive, switching from su-to-root to policykit. This might fix the issue.
