I only know that this occur when I mark some packages to install via Synaptic. Really strange behavior.

I forgot to mention: nothing happens to Synaptic. After the crash (I only note the crash because the alert in the Ubuntu-GNOME panel) I start to submit the report, and continue to select more packages (to install) via Synaptic interface. And things still goes well.
