Kernels newer than 2.6.32 aren't currently supported by BLCR, a fix is in progress however this is proving difficult.

There is a Debian bug for this:
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=573112 and some discussions on the blcr mailing list.
