Ubuntu is on binutils 2.37 since impish:
 binutils | 2.37-7ubuntu1 | impish
 binutils | 2.37.90.20220126-0ubuntu1 | jammy
Even if the latest v2.37.90.20220126-0ubuntu1 seems to cause problems in certain areas,
I think I'll still close this bug as Fix Released, since the general request (for this platform) going to (at least) 2.37 is fulfilled, since we will not go below 2.37 anymore.

binutils 2.37 is sufficient for jammy, therefore we can close the ticket.
