firefox 11.0 back button

automatic ubuntu 10.10 upgrade today to firefox 11.0 now back and forward button are greyed out, address bar just says go to website unless icon clicked then it reads the page you are on, and bookmarks toolbar vanishes -- has to be unticked then reticked to gain access,
