After unsuccesfull removing of guidedog and firestarter, bind9 is not working anymore. Ican't reinstall it anymore.

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better.

Unfortunately I can't tell from the log data why bind9 failed to start. Could you please do

   grep named /var/log/syslog > out.txt

and append the resulting out.txt to this bug?
