python-beautifulsoup should have some docs

python-beautifulsoup doesn't include no docs (besides the docstrings).
Including http://www.crummy.com/software/BeautifulSoup/documentation.html or at least pointing to that page in README.Debian would make the module easier to use for programmers

Thanks. I don't see any in the beta tarball or bzr branch, but you have some up on your website. It'd be nice if they were included in the tarball.

Tarballs for Beautiful Soup 4 now include Sphinx documentation. It's also in the Bazaar repository.

Guess I am a latecomer to Beautiful Soup but I find it fascinating. Documents or instructions would be very welcome. The books published by Packet, sold by Amazon are of no practical use as they contain so many mistakes and requests for you to buy more of the same.

This appears fixed in beautifulsoup4. It seems unlikely that it'll be fixed in the older version beautifulsoup (3), so I'm marking that one as Won't Fix to set expectations.
