Beagle-crawl-system just not working (and breaking yelp!)

Beagle-crawl-system does NOT work on my system. I use edgy, and the script just returns 1.

I discovered that the script does not get past line 52:

OPTIONS="`test -n "$CRAWL_DISABLE_FILTERING" -a "$CRAWL_DISABLE_FILTERING" = "yes" && \
                   echo --disable-filtering`"

By removing the -a "$CRAWL_DISABLE_FILTERING" = "yes" part, the script goes past the line (however it is incorrect), else it just exists, resulting in yelp broken when installing beagle on edgy.
