Beagle does not start automatically (Dapper)

Bug Description

After the upgrade to 0.2.6-ubuntu5, Beagle no longer starts automatically with Gnome for me.

All Dapper upgrades currently available are installed.

Is the beagled deamon running ?

I bet it is running, but that it runs into trouble somehow.
Try this ::
    $ beagled --replace --debug --fg

and see what happens... it will probably raise an exception along the way.

You can always try to clear the index completely :
     $ rm ~./beagled

Either clearing the index or some recent update seems to have cleared the problem - though I don't remember seeing any recent beagle* updates, so I imagine it was something in the index.

Thanks for the tip. I'll close the bug since it seems to be working now.

The problem seemed to come from something in my index rather than beagle itself.
