Bug Description

I was following the instructions from this article, when the crash occured:
http://www.computerandyou.net/2011/05/how-to-solve-no-wireless-networks-in-ubuntu-11-04/

Here's the wireless card I'm having difficultly getting to work:
Broadcom Corporation BCM4311 802.11b/g WLAN [14e4:4311] (rev 02)

In previous versions of Ubuntu, there would be b43 drivers I could choose, that would make this wireless card work, but now there are only STA drivers, and they don't actually work for this nic.
