Bug Description
System: ThinkPad Edge E325
OS: Ubuntu Oneiric 11.10 (latest updates)
On ThinkPad Edge E325 which has a BCM43224 (14e4:0576) this module conflicts with the bcma module which comes with the kernel.
To get wireless running simply blacklist the "bcma" module (like its done with the oder modules by the package) and reload wl module or reboot.

$ dmesg | grep "HP Mini"
[ 0.000000] DMI: Hewlett-Packard HP Mini 311-1000/3651, BIOS F.02 08/04/2009
$ lsb_release -d
Description: Ubuntu 11.10
$ uname -mr
3.0.0-12-generic i686
$ lspci -vvnn | grep Broadcom
03:00.0 Network controller [0280]: Broadcom Corporation BCM43224 802.11a/b/g/n [14e4:4353] (rev 01)
had lots of problems getting to this point, so I started from scratch:
$ apt-get install bcmwl-kernel-source
$ modprobe -r b43 ssb wl bcma
$ modprobe wl
