Bug Description
Wanted to install recommended proprietary drivers for the integrated intel WiFi chip on live ubuntu 10.10 netbook (on a 4Gb usb stick with 1Gb of reserved space).
The specific model is a Compaq Mini 700, Model # 730EZ.
It took a while to install (about 10min) and then when the completion bar was almost full, the crash indicator icon showed up.
I don't want to try with an on-disk installation, but I'm quite sure it would solve the problem... Does anyone have tried with this pc/model?
