Bug Description

I booted ubuntu from a usb flash drive. Attempted to install restricted drivers (broadcom sta). The installation has failed: package bcmwl-kernel-source 5.60.48.36 bdcom-0ubuntu5 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1

The issue exists in Ubuntu 10.4 for 686 and Ubuntu 10.10 for amd64.
