Bug Description
Binary package hint: wl
Appending with "Network controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM4312 802.11b/g (rev 01)" on Ubuntu 9.04 LPIA *and* x86 releases.
The driver used is the one selected with "restricted driver manager", that shows me "Broadcom STA wireless driver". I can't find that into the repositories.
how the bug occurs :
When choosing a wifi network with nm-applet, all is going right : the wifi sets up and the connection is established. All Internet is working well with WPA-securised network.
The bug consists in the fact that nm-applet *doesn't* display the network it is connected to with the traditional rounded checkbox (in the network list). Moreover, the icon in the systray is always the 0% wifi reception one.
See the screenshot and the traditional files into the package to understand what kind of problem this is.
