Is anyone working on this? I just had another kernel update, and this still does not work.

Use http://mirrors.kernel.org/ubuntu/pool/restricted/b/bcmwl/bcmwl-kernel-source_6.30.223.271+bdcom-0ubuntu4_amd64.deb with the 4.15 kernels as the package in xenial repositories doesn't have the patch yet for 4.15
