this happened after i installed mannually the ubuntu-kernel 3.17.0-999* on trusty thar. now i will not see wifi option in nm-applet menu.

 “bcmwl” package Bugs Bug #1358966

Updated bcmwl-kernel-source/dkms pkg has been submitted and is awaiting approval.
