I confirm this bug happens in Xubuntu 14.04. I noticed the problem after upgrading my kernel to "4.4.0-34-generic".

This bug has re-appeared yesterday on my 14.04 installation with the upgrade from kernel 4.4.0-62 to 4.4.0-63.

I've attached the crash log.

Today's upgrade of linux-headers-4.4.0-63 pkg to version 4.4.0-63.84~14.04.2 has fixed the issue for me :)
