Bug Description

erasedups is very useful configuration setting as otherwise history gets quickly poluted with repeated commands. It is one of the first things I do when I install new Ubuntu version (right after fixing resolution). It would be nice to have it as default setting.

HISTCONTROL=ignoredups:ignorespace:erasedups
