Bug Description

Binary package hint: bash-completion

Upon logging into a ec2 instance from 20100601 maverick server I see:

-bash: /etc/bash_completion.d/apt: line 32: syntax error near unexpected token `;'
-bash: /etc/bash_completion.d/apt: line 32: ` 2> /dev/null ); $( apt-cache --no-generate pkgnames "lib$cur" \'
-bash: /etc/bash_completion.d/apt: line 33: syntax error near unexpected token `)'
-bash: /etc/bash_completion.d/apt: line 33: ` 2> /dev/null); )'

This is reproducible outside ec2 entirely:

$ bash -n /etc/bash_completion.d/apt
/etc/bash_completion.d/apt: line 32: syntax error near unexpected token `;'
/etc/bash_completion.d/apt: line 32: ` 2> /dev/null ); $( apt-cache --no-generate pkgnames "lib$cur" \'
/etc/bash_completion.d/apt: line 33: syntax error near unexpected token `)'
/etc/bash_completion.d/apt: line 33: ` 2> /dev/null); )'

It would appear to be a regression from the newly added debian/patches/04-fix-546794.patch
