Syntax error from bash complection when starting terminal

Bug Description

Binary package hint: bash-completion

System: Ubuntu Maverick
bash-complection: 1:1.1-3ubuntu3
bash: 4.1-2ubuntu3

When starting terminal i`m getting the following errors:

bash: /etc/bash_completion.d/apt: line 32: syntax error near unexpected token `;'
bash: /etc/bash_completion.d/apt: line 32: ` 2> /dev/null ); $( apt-cache --no-generate pkgnames "lib$cur" \'
bash: /etc/bash_completion.d/apt: line 33: syntax error near unexpected token `)'
bash: /etc/bash_completion.d/apt: line 33: ` 2> /dev/null); )'
