Bug Description

The installer just asks me to select from a list of three kernel packages (linux-386, linux-image-386, linux-image-2.6.15-18-386), but doesn't give me any hint about the difference between those and how it will affect the to-be-installed system.

The reporter didn't say it was fixed.

As a developer, I know it wasn't fixed.

Thus, this bug report shouldn't be closed. (Even if it had been fixed, Invalid would not be the appropriate status.)
