Banshee not scrobbling podcasts to last.fm

When music plays on Banshee it scrobbles normally to Last.fm. Podcasts will not scrobble to last.fm from Banshee. Downloaded podcasts also return ownership errors when they attempt to sync with music players

Could you get the output of 'banshee --debug' across a few song changes (to see what happens when Banshee attempts to scrobble) please?

I ran Banshee with the banshee -debug command, played a mix of podcasts and music. The music seems to scrobble almost straight away but nothing happens with the podcast, but I am sure you can make more sense of this then me.

Are podcasts even supposed to be scrobbled? As far as I know, last.fm scrobbling is meant to be done with music tracks. There isn't really a point in scrobbling podcasts, now is there?

I have been able to in the past and I know other users can scrobble the shows I listen to, Last.fm does have a section dedicated to podcasts (see: http://www.last.fm/tag/podcast?ac=podcast).
