Banshee does not detect iPod Touch

Bug Description

When I Start banshee and Connect the iPod. An Apple IPod is shown in the devices section. Clicking on music Shows no content. And I cannot sync any content.

In nautilus I am able to browse the device without a problem.

The following is shown in the terminal,

NOTE: The ipod does not show up at all in Rhthymbox

What is in .gvfs folder? Please post ls ~/.gvfs when it is not plugged in and again when it is plugged in. If there is no change, it's possible that .gvfs is an ordinary folder instead of a mount point. In this case, rename or delete .gvfs and reboot. Then try again.

I found the solution...

I had to remove the gnome-device-manager. Once this was done I was able to sync without a problem in Rhythmbox. Banshee could not see the already present music, or detect the usage correctly though.
