Bug Description

Binary package hint: banshee

I am trying to run Banshee on Ubuntu version 11.04 upgraded from 10.10. When I start Banshee, it spontaneously dies.

I noticed that this happened when my ~/Music folder was in fact a symlink to a Music folder on another disk.

Rhythmbox does not trip on this, there is no reason why Banshee should.

Banshee is working after I pointed it to the actual folder (not a symlink).

Same here. Deleting the symlink is the answer.
