banshee says it is playing one song while it is actually playing another

Banshee 1.9.6 on Ubuntu 11.04 sometimes reports, in the title bar at the top and the song section at the bottom, that it is playing one song, for which it it displays a Time of "1:59", while it is actually playing a different song, for which the slider near the top left correctly displays the time of "8:00".

I noticed the problem yesterday when I was in the "Unheard" section of the "Music" Library.

Today, I clicked on a song in the "Recently Added" section of the "Music" Library, clicked on the "Play" icon, and it played that song and displayed the correct time for that song under the slider near the top left of the window, but the information to the right of the slider and in the title bar was for a different song by a different artist, from a different album.

Banshee is set to "Shuffle by Song. After playing that first song, the title bar and the information to the right of the slider near the top left of the window changed to the song that was playing each time a new song started, but the song section at the bottom of the window never changed and continued to highlight the first song that was played.
