Bug Description

Binary package hint: banshee

Videos played in simplified view should adjust control size according to video
size.

Currently the video UI in simplified mode ends up with large bars around the
video to accommodate the controls. This makes it impractical e.g. to watch a
small video in 1:1 mode with the window in Always on top mode if the WM allows.

Thanks a lot for reporting this as a paper cut. I agree that this is a problem and that a better solution would be to have the controls float atop the video, either at the top or the bottom, and to have them fade after a few seconds.
