Bug Description
Binary package hint: banshee
After a "resource not found" error, Banshee plays the next song at the maximum
volume, overriding the setting. The volume bar stays unchanged.
To restore the volume level, one just has to move the volume bar and it goes
back to normal.
To reproduce, set the volume to a mid level, import a couple of songs, then delete one, and try to play it. Banshee will then display the "Resource not found" error message. Then play the second song. It will play all right, but with the volume at the maximum level.

Hi Juan,
Which version of Ubuntu are you using? Also which version of Banshee is it?
I can re-create the problem exactly as you described and I'm running Edgy and Banshee 0.11.0-0ubuntu1.
I notice also that it's been reported (I think by yourself) upstream at bugzilla http:// bugzilla. gnome.org/ show_bug. cgi?id= 360195
Thanks,
Alex
