Bug Description

Binary package hint: banshee

My iPod is a nano one.

When I plugged it into my PC, it was mounted correctly and rhythmbox is opened immediately.
However when I tried Banshee, the iPod was not recognised by the software. It is not listed on the left colum of the Banshee window.

I have installed the 'ipod' package, which can 'listens to 'iPod-specific HAL events'. As for the output when I runned it...

Listening for iPod-specific HAL events...

Not a Valid iPod! Try Rebooting the iPod

Any ideas?

Thanks for your bug.

What version of banshee do you use? Does rhythmbox show your ipod device?

Banshee version:
0.10.10

Rhythmbox opens and shows my iPod right after I plug it in

Thanks

This should be fixed with banshee 0.11.0, libipoddevice 0.5.0 and ipod-sharp 0.6.2... please reopen if you still get this problem after updating to banshee 0.11.0.
