Bug Description
Binary package hint: banshee
Banshee on Lucid does not automatically detect my DAAP share on a NAS. Unfortunately there is not even a means to connect manually, however I can connect and use that share manually with Rhythmbox to verify that it works.

I have a bit of a feeling that this was caused by my ISP (!) resolving non-resolvable DNS names to their stupid search page. Once I opted out of that behaviour, auto-detecting DAAP shares started working. Still, auto-detection of local resources should not be dependant on external services like the DNS servers.
