Bug Description

Binary package hint: banshee

Connecting a Sony W890 in mass storage mode, nothing happens in banshee (jaunty) although gnome and rhythmbox properly detect it as audio player. Launching with --debug nothing shows up in the terminal upon connecting.

Try MTP mode (hopefully your device is dual mode). My Sansa e200 wouldn't sync with Banshee in MSC but it worked once I changed it to MTP.

Then I run into bug 423211, b/c my phone offers one mtp device for both the internal memory and the memory card.

@Stefan, please could you check if this behavior is still affecting you in latest release of banshee 1.6.1.1 included in Ubuntu Lucid? Thanks!
