(dapper) Banshee does not start

Bug Description
On the latest Dapper release, Banshee refuses to start, even after deleting the ~/.gnome2/banshee directory.
When launching from the console, the following messages are displayed:
windi@desk:~$ banshee
Warning: [3/20/2006 1:13:26 PM] (Cannot connect to NetworkManager) - An available, working network connection will be assumed

Creating playlists table

Did you ever have installed a banshee compiled yourself from source? lib/banshee /usr/lib/banshee and then reinstall banshee)
In that case please verify that all parts are really gone. (rm -rf /usr/local/
