banshee fails folder or auto import

Bug Description

around 5000 songs - 10 GB (approx) in multiple folders- When I try an import (even if I choose just 1-5 mp3's) NO results occur. i have deleted the .banshe.db file multiple times and tried both folder import and auto import of all songs and just a few. I recieve no error- and banshee still says "preloading files". This again is even with a local folder containing only 3 mp3's.

I used to see the same thing in the OpenSUSE version of Banshee until I installed gstreamer0.8-mad . Do you have gstreamer0.8-mad installed?

Is this still the case with banshee 0.10 and the relevant gstreamer plugins installed? please re-open this bug if you still get it
