Bug Description

I use banshee in feisty to manage my podcasts and mp3 files.
After some time, I have to delete some podcasts to clean up. For no apparent reason, banshee crashes after I select a file, click right and click on "Delete from Drive".

Does it crash when deleting normal MP3 files in your library, or just podcasts?

There may be several issues that could take their role in this crash:

1) My MP3 files are on external USB drive, that is automatically mounted by Ubuntu
2) I use smart-playlists (by search) to organize my mp3 file. deleting a file in a playlist makes banshee crash after the 3rd or 4th file ...

It is NOT limited to Podcasts!

Absolutely right.
It crashes for me EVERYTIME I try to "Delete from drive" when I'm in a smart playlist. In fact it does not crash - it just dissapears

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? May you try to reproduce it with Gutsy? You may grab a CD Image from here: http://www.ubuntu.com/testing/ thanks in advance.

I have this happen to me as well on Hardy Alpha 2, so I am marking as confirmed and reopening.

Note that this is trying to delete a file in the main library screen and not a Smart Playlist.
