Bug Description

I installed banshee-extension-liveradio. I can browse the available radios, select a Live 365 radio and click on them to play. However they're always buffering (at 0%) so at the most I can listen to 2 seconds of music, 2 seconds of silence and then again, ad infinitum. It's not a network problem as I'm able to listen to other radios (such as http://s1.viastreaming.net:7170/) without problem.

This occurs not only with Live365 but all internet radio stations. The stream is not buffered, causing interrupted playback. I'm using the Banshee daily repo on 11.10.

Just to clarify, as with the original reporter, this problem is *not* occurring outside of Banshee.

I'm still on Natty and since yesterday (the first time I test it in months) this problem seems to have gone away. I didn't do anything special so maybe some upgrade fixed it (my current version of banshee-extension-liveradio is 2.0.0-1ubuntu1)

I think I'm experiencing an identical issue: Banshee retrieves playing stream's metadata OK, but fails to play media - constantly flicks buffer to 0.0%.
This stream works well/great in other clients, such as VLC & Chromium browser (on multiple OS's)

Client:
Ubuntu 12.04 LTS x86_64 3.2.0-27-generic
banshee 2.4.1-3ubuntu1~precise2
banshee-extension-liveradio 2.4.0-1ubuntu1

"Open Location" is a bust (same results), so created radio stations.
I've set up MPD in a VM & pushing out the audio streams via HTTP as documented: http://mpd.wikia.com/wiki/Configuration#Built-in_HTTP_streaming

CLI debug (https://live.gnome.org/Banshee/CommonQuestions/Logs) not much help.

Getting the following debug info when (re)playing the track/station/audio stream:

Confirming this problem, for Live365 stations only (i.e., the liveradio extension to Banshee). I'm using Banshee 2.4.0, with the liveradio plugin configured to use my Live365 username/password. The problem does NOT affect the initial ads, only the music stream. I get a burst of music every 1 second, but the burst only lasts for about 0.5 seconds followed by silence for 0.5 seconds. Note: I can listen just fine to the Live365 streams via Firefox, and I can listen to non-Live365 radio stations fine via Banshee. Let me know if I can provide more information.
