Bug Description
The Wireshark icon won't stay in the Ubuntu 12.04 application sidebar. When you launch it, you see the icon momentarily in the sidebar, but it goes away after a fraction of a second. At this state if you minimize the application, there is no obvious way to restore it. It has to be killed manually from the terminal and restarted.
This is on an up to date Ubuntu 12.04 system.
Wireshark Package Version: 1.6.7-1 amd64

Wireshark does nothing odd with it's desktop file or windows, so this is almost certainly a bamf bug (the app that handles the sidebar tiles) rather than a Wireshark bug. Reassigning.
For the bamf devs who take a look at this: wireshark opens a splash screen that bamf picks up on, which disappears right before the main wireshark window opens. Possibly a race between the disappearing splash and the appearing main window?
