baloosearch does not return file when query is preceded by underscore

Bug #1321259 reported by kioftes on 2014-05-20

Bug Description

Hello there,

I have a large number of files that have underscores as filename separators. It seems that baloo ignores a file when the match is preceded by an underscore. To be more precise:

$ touch testfound_foundtest
$ baloosearch testfound

  66568 /home/kioftes/testfound_foundtest

$ baloosearch foundtest

I am currently running Kubuntu 14.04, with stock KDE 4.13.0

also has problems with parts of filenames with numbers and dashes without spaces.

for example file: Testfile-73-Volume1.pdf

baloosearch Tes

gives: Testfile-73-Volume1.pdf

baloosearch 73-Vol

fails to find anything.

Hugely frustrating...

I've been told that this bug has been fixed in Plasma 5, and no more bug fixes for the 4.x series will be released, could you please use Plasma 5 to get the fix for this particular issue.

You will need to re-index your files though.
