Sou apenas usuário e não sei nada que possa ajudar pois não sou desenvolvedor. Estava tentando atualizar para a versão 10.10 mais também não estou conseguindo pois da erro no cálculo. por isso estou entrando em contato para tentar pelo menos aprender a me comunicar com este grupo GENIAL e ver se pelo menos consigo enviar as informações que são pedidas.
NOTA: Tenho 61 anos e instalei o 9.04 há uma semana, estou encantado com o UBUNTU e embora tendo o WIN7 já comprado não o instalei e estou quase convencendo minha esposa em ficar com o UBUNTU e sair de vez do sistema proprietário. Estou também preocupado em instalar um FIREWAL e um Anti-Virus, pois na internet proteção se faz com prevenção, mas ainda não descobri qual o melhor dentro do ESPÍRITO DE LIBERDADE que é o UBUNTU. Sei que não estou no canal apropriado, mas quero PARABENIZAR a todos que de uma ou outra maneira participam deste GRANDE PROJETO. E se quiserem se comunicar ou responder é só enviar para <email address hidden>

HI Sergio,

Thank you for reporting bugs and trying to make Ubuntu better.

For what I can see in the logs, it seems that MySQL was not started or it failed to start cause bacula to be unable to connect to mysql.This is show by:

ERROR 2002 (HY000): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' (2).

Could you please verify first if MySQL is up and running, and you can connect to the database manually. Once you do try to remove and reinstall bacula, or the following to try to reconfigure it:

sudo dpkg --configure -a.

If the above doesn't work, please remove and reinstall bacula.

I'm marking this bug as Incomplete until more information is provided.

Obrigado pela atenção, mas devido a problemas outros o Ubuntu foi
temporariamente desinstalado e quando for novamente instalado o bug tera
sumido. Grato
