 * Original description

In bug 1962704, backport-iwlwifi-dkms of focal/impish/jammy is being proposed to upgrade to its revision 9580, but after v5.17 being released and entered Jammy as new -generic kernel, 9580 fails to build against the latest kernel headers due to multiple problems including API change in commit 7462494408cd ("ethtool: extend ringparam setting/getting API with rx_buf_len").

This is fixed at least in upstream revision 9858 (https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/iwlwifi/backport-iwlwifi.git/commit/?id=d0c7cb83a3772ed9dfb7b22242faea0951090ffd).
