Bug Description

To set up BIT for backing up to a Luks encrypted external HDD when the drive is plugged, I had to modify the udev rule.

I had to replace

ACTION=="add"

to

ACTION=="change"

in order to get BIT to start backup automatically once the disk is plugged. udev fires a 'change' event once the disk is decrypted and ready for writing, not 'add'.

BIT 1.1.24~xenial on Ubuntu 16.04.4 LTS

Thanks for your report and suggest.

If you can reproduce the situation with the latest version of Back In Time I would suggest to open a bug ticket at the upstream project.
