Bug Description

file manager is dead (not working: installing, removing, upgrading):

dpkg: warning: files list file for package 'libbabl-0.1-0:amd64' missing; assuming package has no files currently installed
dpkg: unrecoverable fatal error, aborting:
 files list file for package `libpurple0' contains empty filename
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (2)

sudo dpkg --configure -a
sudo apt-get -f install
does not help...

Thank you for reporting this bug to Ubuntu. Ubuntu 14.10 reached End of Life in 2016.

This doesn't appear to be a bug in babl anyway.
