IBM Java crashed while running azureus

Can you specify what you did to cause the fault?

I simply launched azureus. The torrents screen came up for a few seconds (without any of the buttons), and then disappeared.

I downloaded the .jar file from the azureus website and there were no problems, so I think it is specific to ubuntu's azureus.

A lot of problems as been fixed with the latest 2.5.0.4-1ubuntu3~gutsy1 version which you can install on Linux Ubuntu Gutsy with backports repositories enabled.

Can-you confirm that you still have that issue with this azureus version?

Because 2.5.0.4-1ubuntu3~gutsy1 version fixes the problem on every duplicates of this bug report, I set this bug report as duplicate of bug #57875. If you can still reproduce a crash with the 2.5.0.4-1ubuntu3~gutsy1 or higher version of azureus, I suggest you to open a new detailed bug report.
